4 egg yolks
4 tsp. flour
2 c. sugar
3 c. milk

Beat egg yolks, add flour, sugar, and milk beat. Bring to a boil over low heat stirring constantly. Let thicken. Remove from fire and add 1/4 stick butter and 2 cups of vanilla. Line dish with a layer of vanilla wafers then bananas then pudding. Alternate until pudding is gone.
