FISH AND MEAT BREADING | |
Old Bay, to taste bread crumbs (amount needed) salt and pepper, to taste rosemary, to taste egg (s) any type of poultry, seafood, etc. Put egg (s) into a bowl and beat (not with electric mixer). Heat oil until it is hot enough to cook food immediately. Check by putting a piece of batter or a 1 inch cube of bread into the oil. Thaw fish and meat if frozen, if not rinse meat and/or seafood and dip it into the egg (s). Put a desired amount of bread crumbs of any kind, Old Bay, and salt and pepper on a separate shallow dish. Put two pinches or more of rosemary in the dry mix. Transfer the seafood or meat from the egg (s) to the dry mix and turn until fully covered. Lower food into the oil carefully to avoid being burned. Cook until medium to golden brown. Enjoy! Submitted by: Maddy Reed |
