PEAR BREAKFAST COOKIES 
2 fresh pears, diced
1/2 c. butter
1/3 c. honey
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. rolled oats
1/3 c. raisins
1/3 c. chopped nuts

Cream butter, sugar and honey. Add egg, beating until light and fluffy. Add vanilla. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Add to creamed mix. Stir in oats, pears, raisins and nuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls on lightly greased baking sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes 4 dozen.
