SOUFFLE SANDWICH | |
3 c. milk 1/2 tsp. salt 6 eggs, beaten 1/2 tsp. dry mustard 1/2 lb. shaved ham 1/2 lb. grated cheese 1/2 c. butter 1/2 bag potato chips 16 slices bread Mix milk, salt, eggs, and mustard. Remove crusts from bread. Grease 9 x 13 pan. Place 8 slices of bread on the bottom of pan, next a layer of slices ham, then a layer of grated cheese. Repeat layers again. Pour the milk mixture over the bread, ham, and cheese. Cover with foil. Refrigerate overnight. Just before placing in oven, pour melted butter mixed with crushed potato chips over mixture. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 1 hour. |
