1 (2 layer size) chocolate cake mix
1/2 c. oil
2 eggs
1 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. pecans, chopped (opt.)

Blend cake mix, oil and eggs. Fold in chips and nuts. Drop rounded teaspoon of dough on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes. Makes 6 1/2 dozen. Mint or peanut butter chips can also be used.
