BANANA WHIP CREAM CAKE 
1/2 c. butter
1 1/8 c. sugar
2 lg. eggs
3 tbsp. milk
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
2 mashed bananas
1 tsp. vanilla
1 lg. bunch bananas, sliced
2 pts, heavy cream, beat 1/4 c. sugar into whip cream

Grease and flour 2 (8 inch) cake pans. Set oven at 350 degrees. Cream together butter and sugar. Beat in eggs. Combine (milk and lemon juice), then in second bowl, combine flour, salt, baking powder, and soda. Alternately add to butter, sugar, and eggs. Then stir in 2 mashed bananas and vanilla. Put into cake pans and bake 25 minutes. Cool thoroughly. Split layers in half. Take 1st layer, ice with whip cream. Top with bananas. Cover with whip cream. Repeat for next 2 layers. Put on top layer and ice whole cake with whip cream.
