ASPARAGUS ROLL-UPS 
12 slices white bread, rolled flat with rolling pin
8 oz. cream cheese
8 slices bacon, fried crisp, crumbled
1 tbsp. chives, chopped
12 asparagus spears

Trim crusts from bread before rolling. Mix together softened cream cheese, chives and bacon. Spread on bread. Roll bread around asparagus spear and place on baking sheet. Brush with melted butter. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes. May put under broiler for short time, if not brown enough.
