HOLIDAY MACAROONS 
2 eggs
3/4 c. sugar
1/3 c. unsifted flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. butter (melted and cooled slightly)
1 tsp. vanilla
2 2/3 c. flake coconut

Beat eggs until foamy. Gradually add sugar, beating constantly. Fold in flour, baking powder and salt. Add butter, vanilla, coconut. Drop by teaspoon onto greased and floured sheet. Bake at 325 degrees about 15 minutes. Let stand a few seconds and remove from sheet. For the holidays add 1 or 2 cups candied fruit.
