1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 egg
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
48 or more chocolate candy kisses

Mix all ingredients except candy kisses in a bowl. Shape dough into balls and roll in sugar. Put on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Press candy kisses on cookie while HOT so cookie cracks around edge.
