DOUGHNUTS 
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 c. sour cream or buttermilk
Put 1 tsp. baking soda in 1/4 c. sweet cream and 1/4 c. milk
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
3 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix ingredients in order given. Heat Crisco from a can in heavy kettle to 350-375 degrees. Drop with donut maker until desired brown, turning often.
