2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
2 c. mashed potatoes
4 eggs, beaten separately
3/4 c. sour milk or buttermilk
2 c. flour
2 tbsp. cocoa
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
2 c. raisins
1 c. nuts

Mix sugar, butter, potatoes, eggs and milk. Sift dry ingredients and mix with first batter. Add raisins and nuts. Bake in 9 x 13 inch pan for 1 hour at 350 degrees. Frost with chocolate frosting.
