AMISH DROP SUGAR COOKIES 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
2 eggs
1 c. sour cream
3 3/4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream sugar and butter or add eggs; beat well. Add sour cream, dry ingredients and vanilla; mix thoroughly. Drop by teaspoons onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes.

These cookies were easy to mix up and, when done, had a cake-like texture on the inside. I rolled them in sanding sugar to give them a sparkle and a little more of a sweet taste. The flavor of the cookie was good. I couldn't taste the sour cream. The batter is soft and a little sticky, but I was still able to use my cookie scoop to deposit them in the sugar.
