PANNED SPINACH | |
1 lb. spinach 1 tbsp. butter 2 tbsp. olive oil 1 clove minced garlic Wash well and remove the coarse stems from spinach. Shake off as much water as possible. Heat in a large skillet the butter and olive oil. Add garlic. Add the spinach. Cover at once and cook over high heat until steam appears. Reduce the heat and simmer until tender, 5 to 6 minutes in all. Serves 3. |
