WHEATIE COCONUT COOKIES 
1 c. shortening (1/2 butter)
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
2 c. moistened shredded coconut
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. Wheaties

Cream butter and sugar. Beat eggs; mix well. Add coconut. Sift flour once before measuring, sift again and add baking powder, salt and soda to flour. Add to mixture. Add vanilla and then Wheaties. Bake on ungreased pan for 12 minutes at 400 degrees.
