SOFT GINGERSNAPS 
2 eggs
2 c. white sugar
1 1/2 c. melted shortening
1/2 c. molasses
4 c. flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. ginger
4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Mix eggs and sugar together; add shortening and molasses. Blend in dry ingredients. Chill dough for 2 hours; roll into balls (1 inch). Roll balls in sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
