SHORTCUT TUNA NOODLE HOT DISH 
1 (7 oz.) box macaroni and cheese
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter
1 (5 oz.) can tuna
1 (15 oz.) can peas
4 slices deli style American cheese
salt, to taste

Prepare the macaroni and cheese according to package directions (milk and butter may vary according to brand or variety). Drain the tuna and peas. Flake the tuna and stir it into the prepared mac and cheese, then gently fold the peas into the mac and cheese. Turn it out into a buttered oven safe casserole dish. Top with slices of cheese and bake at 325°F for approximately 15 minutes, or until the dish is warmed through and the cheese is starting to bubble.

Let the dish cool rest for two minutes before serving.

Feel free to use any brand or variety of mac and cheese, tuna or peas, or even cheese so long as it isn't low fat. Low fat cheese will not melt into the dish properly.
