SUPER EASY FUDGE
12 oz. semisweet chocolate, either chips or a bar broken into pieces
1 14oz. can of sweetened condensed milk
2 tbs. regular butter
OPTIONAL: 1 cup any kind of nuts, bashed up into small pieces (almonds are great in this!)

Place all ingredients (except nuts, if using) in a pan over medium-low heat. Melt and stir together slowly, until combined and shiny. Remove from heat. If using nuts, add now.

Spread in a disposable, square, aluminum pan and let cool at room temperature for about a half hour. Place in fridge and let it completely set (about 2-3 hours).

Score across the top, 8 lines up and down, and 8 lines across. Remove from pan and cut all the way through score marks with sharp knife.

Will yield 64 pieces. Bag them up and give them out for presents!!!

Enjoy!

It would have been helpful if Crick916 would have provided the size of pan. I used a 9x11 (approx.) Fudge was less than 1 in thick which was not as I had wanted. Not sure how she was able to get 64 pieces.

Super easy! Added 2/3 cup chopped pecans and 1/2 tsp vanilla extract and sprinkled sea salt on top. Very posh!

It said a SQUARE pan. It's usually 8x8 or 9x9.

Gave it a 3 simply because of the quick and easy recipe. Taste would get a 1. Far too rich and not nearly sweet enough. I even added vanilla and black walnuts to it. Will not make again.
