PUNCH BOWL CAKE 
1 box 2 layer cake mix, cook as directed on box, cook in sheet pan
2 cans cherry pie filling
1 (3 1/4 oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding
1 can crushed pineapple
1 (14 oz.) pkg. coconut
1 c. chopped pecans (optional)
1 (12 oz.) Cool Whip

Bake cake day before. Crumble. Mix crushed pineapple and instant pudding. Place half of cake crumbs in bottom of punch bowl (or any large bowl). Then divide other ingredients and layer them, making 2 layers of all. Be sure to have enough Cool Whip left to cover top. Great for family reunions or large get-togethers.
