IRISH COFFEE CAKE | |
1 c. butter 2 c. sugar 2 eggs 2 c. flour, sifted 1 c. sour cream 1/4 tsp. vanilla 1/4 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking powder TOPPING: 1/2 c. nuts, finely chopped 1/3 c. brown sugar 1/4 tsp. cinnamon Cream butter, sugar and eggs. Fold in sour cream and vanilla. Fold in sifted dry ingredients. Grease and flour bundt pan. Pour 1/4 of batter into pan. Sprinkle 1/2 of topping. Add remaining batter and sprinkle remainder of topping. Bake 1 hour in oven at 350 degrees. Let cool completely before removing from pan. |
