MAPLE CORN ON THE COB | |
8 med. size ears corn 1/4 c. maple or maple-flavor syrup 2 tbsp. Dijon mustard 1 tsp. salt ABOUT 20 MINUTES BEFORE SERVING: Remove husks and silk from corn. In 8-quart saucepot over high heat, in 2 to 3 inches boiling water, heat corn to boiling. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 5 minutes; drain. In pie plate, stir maple syrup, mustard, and salt until blended. Dip corn in maple syrup mixture. Makes 8 accompaniment servings. |
