CORN COB JELLY 
12 clean bright red cobs, full length
3 pts. water
1 pkg. Sure Jell
3 c. sugar

Boil broken up cobs in the water for 30 minutes. Remove from heat and strain the liquid, if not 3 cups add enough water to make 3 cups. Add Sure Jell. Bring to rolling boil, then add sugar and boil 45 minutes or until jelly stage. The finished product tastes like apple jelly and has an attractive reddish color.
