BABY'S ONION RINGS | |
4 yellow onions 2 c. milk 2 c. all-purpose flour 3 qts. vegetable oil Salt to taste Slice onion very thinly. Place in shallow dish and add milk to cover. Let soak for about 15 minutes. Dip each ring in flour, shaking off excess. Deep fry in 375 degrees until golden brown, but not any browner, as they will taste burnt. Slot on paper towels. Salt while still hot. Makes 4 servings. |
