Apples
3/4 c. sugar if apples are very tart
1 heaping tbsp. flour
Cinnamon
Butter

Pare and quarter apples to fill a 9-inch pie plate. Butter pan. Place apples close together and cover with the mixture of sugar and flour. Sprinkle cinnamon and dot with butter. Add WARM water (not hot) to depth of about 1/3 inch. Place in moderate 350 degree oven and bake about 25 minutes or until apples are tender. Serve with light cream.
