4 c. sifted flour
1 1/4 c. butter
2 1/4 c. brown sugar

Rub together with fingers. Add 2 beaten eggs. Roll out and cut with cookie cutter. Paint with beaten egg and sprinkle with a mixture of powdered sugar, cinnamon and finely chopped nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
