GROUND BEEF VEGETABLE SOUP | |
1 lb. ground beef 2 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 2 med. carrots, chopped 1 c. chopped potatoes 1 c. chopped cabbage 1 med. onion, chopped 1 rib celery, chopped 1 bay leaf 3 c. water 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, undrained & cut up In Dutch oven, lightly brown ground beef; drain. Stir in remaining ingredients. Simmer covered, 20 to 25 minutes or until vegetables are tender, stirring occasionally. 5 (1 1/2 cup) servings. |
