MACARONI AND CHEESE | |
1 1/2 c. elbow macaroni 6 c. boiling water 2 tsp. salt 1 c. Pet evaporated milk 1 1/2 c. grated American cheese 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/2 tsp. dry mustard 1/2 c. more grated American cheese Boil until tender the macaroni in 6 cups water with 2 teaspoon salt. Drain macaroni and mix with milk, cheese, salt, pepper and dry mustard. Put into greased baking dish and sprinkle 1/2 cup cheese over top. Bake on center rack of 350 degree oven about 25 minutes. Makes 4 servings. (The recipes from Aunt Maggie were found in a folder in her "chewing gum" drawer.) |
