CRISPY OATMEAL COOKIES 
1 c. Imperial butter
1 c. powdered sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. quick rolled oats
Chocolate chips

Cream butter and sugar. Add vanilla. Combine flour and soda then add to creamed mixture. Stir in oats. Chill dough 1/2 hour. Drop by teaspoons on ungreased cookie sheet. Place chocolate chip in center of each cookie. Bake 325 degrees for 15 minutes. Roll in powdered sugar. Makes at least 4 dozen.
