MEATLOAF CORDON BLEU 
2 lbs. ground beef
1 med. onion, minced
2 slices bread, crumbled
1 egg
1/3 c. milk
1 tsp. basil
1 tbsp. parsley
Salt and pepper
3 slices packaged ham
4 slices American cheese

Mix together all ingredients, except ham and cheese. On plastic wrap, pat meat mixture into 10 x 12 inch rectangle. Place ham and cheese on meat. Starting at narrow end, roll meat. Seal ends well. Transfer to loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until done.
