TEE'S QUICK APPLE PIE | |
Great served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top! 1 (20 oz.) can apple pie filling (I use Comstock) 1 cup granulated sugar 1/4 cup brown sugar 1 tbsp. all-purpose flour 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. cinnamon sugar 4 tbsp. (1/2 stick) butter 2 deep dish pie crusts (Pillsbury) Preheat oven to 350°F. Place bottom pie crust in pie tin and bake at 350°F for about 5 to 8 minutes. Meanwhile, mix all ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Place filling in baked deep dish pie crust. Take second pie crust out of the package (roll if necessary). Cover the baked pie crust and filling with the second pie crust. Brush the top of the pie crust lightly with additional butter. Bake at 350°F for 35 to 40 minutes or until top crust is light brown.
