KATHRYN'S TOMATO BASIL SALAD 
large beefsteak tomato, sliced thick
Mozzarella cheese, sliced thick
sprinkling of fresh basil
coarsely ground black pepper
extra virgin olive oil (EVOO)
salt, to taste

Layer cheese and tomato slices, sprinkle fresh picked basil over each layer.

Top with coarsely ground black pepper and a generous sprinkling of extra virgin olive oil

Serve with fresh baked French bread for sopping up oil and juices.
