STUFFED FRENCH TOAST 
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1 (16 oz.) loaf homemade bread
4 eggs
1 c. whipping cream
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Beat cream cheese and vanilla until fluffy. Stir in nuts and set aside. Cut bread into 10-12 pieces, then slice pocket in center. Stuff with cream cheese, nut mixture. Beat remaining ingredients and carefully dip slices. Grill on hot griddle. Serve with warm orange marmalade or fresh strawberries.
