GRITS AND CHEESE CASSEROLE 
1 1/2 c. "quick" grits
6 c. water

Make grits according to directions on box, but don't add salt.

While grits are still hot from cooking, add the following and mix well: 1 1/2 sticks butter 3 tsp. savory salt 2 tsp. salt Drop or 2 Tabasco sauce 1 lb. sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Ten minutes before the hour, sprinkle the top with paprika. Makes 2 quarts.
