3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
3/4 c. cocoa
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. oil
2 c. water
2 tsp. vanilla

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Combine all ingredients in mixing bowl (don't sift flour). Mix until smooth. Pour into two 9-inch cake pans.

Bake for about 45 minutes.
