SWEET SOUR RIBS 
2 lb. spare ribs
1 c. catsup
1/4 c. vinegar
4 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 c. brown sugar
2 c. warm water

Brown ribs in shortening, turn until all sides are golden brown. Remove meat only to casserole.

Dissolve 1/4 cup brown sugar with warm water. Add remaining ingredients thoroughly. Pour over ribs. Cover and bake at 350 degrees approximately 1 1/2 hours until tender. Serve over rice. Serves 4.
