SWEET & SOUR RIBS 
MARINADE:

4 1/2 lbs. ribs
1/2 c. soy sauce
1 1/2 tsp. cornstarch

SAUCE:

1 c. catsup
1 c. water
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. vinegar
1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. celery seed
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
A few drops of Tabasco sauce (optional)

Place ribs in a large kettle and cover with water. Bring to a boil, then cook 5 minutes. Remove ribs from water and drain well. Brush ribs with mixture of soy sauce and cornstarch combined. (Keep brushing periodically for 30 to 45 minutes). Mix, sauce ingredients in heavy saucepan. Bring to a boil. Place ribs on grill (about 3 inches from hot coals). Cook until tender (about 20 minutes). Use some sauce to baste while cooking and the remainder should be served in dishes as dip for the ribs. Serves about 6.
