HAMBURGER STROGANOFF 
1 cube butter
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, pressed
1 (2 1/2 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
1 to 1 1/2 lb. ground sirloin
3 tbsp. lemon juice
3 tbsp. red wine
1 can consomme, undiluted
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
4 oz. uncooked noodles
1/2 pt. sour cream
Chopped parsley

Use electric skillet or skillet with lid. Saute onion, garlic, mushrooms in butter. Add lean ground sirloin and cook only until pink is gone. Add the lemon juice, red wine, and consomme, salt, and pepper. Add 4 ounces of uncooked noodles, tuck noodles under juice an simmer, covered, 15 minutes. Can be made ahead. Just heat before serving. Add 1/2 pint sour cream in mixture if desired or serve separately on table with chopped parsley.
