HAMBURGER STROGANOFF 
1 lb. ground beef
1 sm. onion (chopped fine)
1 c. sliced mushrooms (drained)
1/2 c. water
1 can cream of mushroom soup
Seasoned salt, chives and pepper to taste
Wide egg noodles (small pkg.)
1 c. of sour cream

Brown ground beef and onion in frying pan. Drain grease. Add water, soup, spices and mushrooms. Simmer until tender for 15 to 20 minutes. Add sour cream to mixture. Simmer an additional 20 minutes. (Add water as needed to prevent scorching.) Prepare egg noddles as directed on package. Drain. Serve stroganoff over egg noodles. (Can substitute rice for noodles if desired.)
