GRANNY'S BRISKET 
Brisket
Celery salt
Onion salt
Garlic salt
Liquid smoke
Worcestershire sauce
Coarse ground pepper
Barbecue sauce

Sprinkle heavily on both sides: celery salt, onion salt, garlic salt. Rub into meat well. Douse heavily with liquid smoke. Rub into meat. Wrap tightly with heavy duty foil. Refrigerate overnight.

Next day: Douse heavily with Worcestershire sauce and coarse ground pepper. Add 4 or 5 tablespoons of barbecue sauce. Spread across the top. Reseal in foil and cook in cool oven at least 6 hours at 250 degrees. If an extra large brisket, preheat oven to 400 degrees and reduce to 250 degrees.

We've used this recipe for years now. Brisket always turns out great! We made the mistake one year of not using heavy duty foil (bc fam we were visiting didn't have any) - didn't turn out so great lol. But this is a definite go to when we're craving brisket. Delicious for left over brisket tacos too!
