GRANNY'S BRISKET | |
Brisket Celery salt Onion salt Garlic salt Liquid smoke Worcestershire sauce Coarse ground pepper Barbecue sauce Sprinkle heavily on both sides: celery salt, onion salt, garlic salt. Rub into meat well. Douse heavily with liquid smoke. Rub into meat. Wrap tightly with heavy duty foil. Refrigerate overnight. Next day: Douse heavily with Worcestershire sauce and coarse ground pepper. Add 4 or 5 tablespoons of barbecue sauce. Spread across the top. Reseal in foil and cook in cool oven at least 6 hours at 250 degrees. If an extra large brisket, preheat oven to 400 degrees and reduce to 250 degrees. |
