“HAWAIIAN HAM BARBECUE” IS IN:

HAWAIIAN HAM BARBECUE
2 lb. ham steak (1 1/2 inches thick)
2 tablespoons prepared mustard
1/4 teaspoon whole mustard seed (optional)
brown sugar
1/2 cup pineapple juice

This is an easy and tasty meal to prepare, and cleanup is a breeze - just toss the foil!

Brush both sides of ham steak generously with yellow or brown mustard. Sprinkle with mustard seed (optional).

Combine brown sugar with pineapple juice and spread evenly over steak.

Place steak on a large double sheet of heavy duty aluminum foil; fold over to make a packet, rolling up sides tightly to seal.

Place over hot coals on grill for 20 minutes. Cover grill.

Move to indirect heat side of grill and continue cooking for another 15 minutes (with grill cover closed).

Serve with a side of crushed pineapple over steamed rice.

Serves 2-4 people.

This was very good. I made it according to the recipe with the exception that I cooked it in a 350°F oven for twenty minutes.
