HUNGARIAN CABBAGE & NOODLES 
5-6 slices bacon
1 tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
Paprika
3 c. cooked noodles (med.) noodles
6 c. cooked cabbage
1 sm. sour cream

In a large skillet fry bacon slowly until crisp. Remove bacon from skillet; drain on paper towel and crumble. Stir sugar and salt into bacon drippings. Add cabbage slowly and toss until cabbage is coated. Cook over medium heat until cabbage is tender. Do not overcook.

In a large casserole combine cabbage and cooked noodles and bacon. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes, covered. Uncover and spoon sour cream over top and sprinkle with paprika and bake only 5 minutes, uncovered. The noodles are Pa. Dutch medium noodles. Also fry extra bacon to sprinkle over top (optional).
