MALINDA'S FAVORITE CAKE 
Yellow cake mix
17 oz. can crushed pineapple
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 lg. vanilla pudding
1 lg. Cool Whip
1 c. coconut
1 c. nuts

Mix and bake cake according to directions. Then cook 1 large can crushed pineapple with 1 1/2 cups sugar until thick. Cook slowly. Cool cake, then pour mixture over cake and let cool.

Mix 1 large package vanilla pudding according to directions. Let cool until thick. Spread over pineapple mixture after cake is cool. Then put 1 cup coconut over top, then Cool Whip and top with 1 cup of chopped nuts.
