RICE AND BEANS (WANKYE) 
2 c. black eye peas (beans)
2 1/2 c. rice (white)
Salt

Wash black eye peas into large pan. Add about 10 cups water to it and cook until it is half way cooked, add salt to taste and add rice, if water is not enough add a little at a time until rice and beans are fluffy and tender, not soggy. Serve with cooked vegetable and gravy.
