CHICKEN MEAT PIE 
1 c. chopped onion
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. water
1 (14 1/2 oz.) can chicken broth
1/2 of 10 oz. pkg. mixed vegetables
3 potatoes, diced in sm. cubes (slightly cooked)
1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. poultry seasoning
3/4 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. chopped chicken

Cook onion in 2 tablespoons butter over medium high heat 3 minutes or until tender. Add combined water, broth, 1/4 cup flour, seasoning and salt. Cook 3 minutes or until thickened. Stir in chicken, vegetables, potatoes.

Prepare pastry (use favorite pie pastry, rolling thicker than dessert pie). Pour mixture onto pie pastry. Cover with pastry on top. Make a slash in the top crust to allow steam to escape. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 40-60 minutes or until pie is a light brown.
