OVEN ROASTED POT ROAST 
5-8 lb. chuck or eye round roast
2 pkg. Lipton dry onion soup mix
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
Fresh or canned mushrooms (optional)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line bottom of pan, leaving extra to wrap meat, with aluminum foil. Add 2 packages onion soup mix and 2 cans cream of mushroom soup with the meat in the pan. Wrap it all up and place in oven. (The mix and soup make a natural gravy.) Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes per pound.
