CHUCKWAGON CASSEROLE 
1/2-1 lb. hamburger
4 med. size potatoes
1 can red beans
Salt

Using 1 1/2 quart casserole, divide hamburger in half and spread 1/2 to cover bottom of casserole, salt. Next spread half the can of beans on top of hamburger. Then slice 2 of the peeled potatoes as for frying and place on top of beans. Salt. This process is repeated, starting with remaining hamburger, etc. As many layers a desired can be made, depending on number of servings desired. Sliced onions may be placed between layers for added flavor. Bulk tomatoes may also be poured over the top for flavor as well as liquid content and color.

Bake for 2-2 1/2 hours at 325-350 degrees. Hot French bread and combination salad complete the meal.
