CHUCKWAGON BEANS | |
3 lbs. ground round 3 c. chopped onions 1 c. chopped celery 14 oz. bottle of ketchup 3 tbsp. mustard 2 lg. cans beans in molasses sauce 1 lb. maple cured bacon Salt and pepper Garlic powder Fry bacon till crisp. Drain on paper towels. Discard bacon grease from frying pan. Fry hamburger, onion and celery. Season with salt, pepper and garlic powder. In large casserole, mix hamburger mixture, beans and remaining ingredients (except bacon). Bake for 1 1/2 hours or until bubbling in a 375 degree oven. Remove from oven and crumble bacon on top. |
