CHUCKWAGON CHOW 
1/2 lb. ground beef
8-10 slices bacon
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/3 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. white sugar
1/2 c. ketchup
2 tbsp. molasses
1 tsp. chili powder
1 (16 oz.) can pork & beans
1 (16 oz.) can butter beans
1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans, drained
Salt & pepper to taste

Fry bacon; brown the ground beef and onions. In a 3 quart casserole, place the cooked beef, onions, and bacon. Add beans, spices, sugars and mix. Bake to heat contents to 350 degrees for 1/2 hour.

NOTE: We vary this recipe frequently according to what's on hand, sometimes using dried onion bits or more or less bacon. Also we sometimes cook the whole thing in one large pot on the stove top, cutting down on clean up!
