LOWFAT OATMEAL WAFERS 
1/2 c. plus 1 tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 stick butter
1/2 c. light brown sugar
2 tbsp. skim milk
1 1/2 tbsp. dark corn syrup
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. plus 1 tbsp. quick oats
1 oz. semi-sweet chocolate
1 tbsp. water

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line two large baking sheets with aluminum foil; spray foil with non-stick cooking spray, set aside.

In a small bowl, combine flour, cinnamon, salt and baking soda. In a large bowl, with mixer at high speed, beat butter, sugar, milk, corn syrup, 1 tablespoon water and vanilla, until well blended (mixture will look curdled).

Stir in flour mixture and oats until combined. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonsful 4 inches apart onto prepared sheets. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Drizzle melted chocolate over baked cookies. Serves 12. 5 grams of fat per 2 cookies.
