NORWEGIAN LEFSE | |
4 c. mashed potatoes 1/2 c. soft shortening 1/2 c. cream (half & half) 1 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. sugar 2 1/2 c. flour Mix all ingredients except flour and chill. Knead in flour thoroughly. Make into balls about 2" in size. Roll out on floured board. Bake on hot ungreased grill or frying pan. Done when light brown, turn and bake other side. Top with butter and sugar and roll or any other topping you enjoy. |
