1 cup sugar
1 cup butter
1 cup flour
2 cup quick oats
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 diced salt

Mix dry ingredients; work in butter like a pie crust. Make into balls and flatten with bottom of glass dipped in sugar while on cookie sheet.

Bake 12-15 minutes at 350°F. Makes 1 dozen cookies.
